Zermatt in Summer

experience the magic

Summer in Zermatt is as vibrant and exciting as winter.

For people who can’t get enough of their snowsports, the pistes at Klein Matterhorn are open 365 days a year for skiing and snowboarding.

With over 400km of hiking trails to discover, Zermatt is the perfect place for the nature-loving hiker. Enjoy awe-inspiring views of the 4000m mountains and lakes surrounding the village.

Cool off with a nice cold drink or a hearty lunch at one of the many mountain restaurants. The restaurants in Findeln is some of our favourites. Great views and fantastic food.

Knowledgeable mountain guides can take you on an adventure to explore the gorge passages or attempt a climb up the 4000m Riffelhorn.

Mountain bikes, e-bikes, dirt scooters and kick-bikes offer an adrenaline rush for the more adventurous.

For the less energetic, enjoy scenic cable car and mountain train journeys that will take you effortlessly to the peaks, through pastures, past alpine lakes and over glaciers.

The best part about summer is you choose the pace.
